For start-ups and small business owners, why do task you are not fond of, especially if someone else can do them for less? According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, small business owners spend between 7 and 25 percent of their time handling employee-related paperwork.  Small businesses realized that the benefits outweigh the costs of outsourcing. Many inexperienced companies are now looking into outsourcing their bookkeeping as the U.S. tax code is 67,000 pages long so it is not that wise just to hire 1 or 2 accountants.

US and UK newspapers now see the value of outsourcing

More and more companies are outsourcing jobs offshore to cut costs, and that includes newspaper publishers. US and UK newspapers have already started offshoring their newspaper production work. Reuters has been outsourcing editorial work for the last couple of years. Thomson Scientific, a business unit of Thomson Reuters, has also outsourced editorial work to Chennai, India. “Now, I read this news about how pre-press and advertising services for print and online media companies are being off shored. In other words, some companies from India and Philippines are providing ad production services to newspapers and graphic arts professionals,” reports the BPO Tiger.
